The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal is organizing an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Next Generation Computing: Machine & Deep Learning Applications – Research Perspective from January 4 to 8, 2021.

National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College was established in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier institute of higher learning and is ranked among the top technical education institutions in India.

There are 13 Departments offering eight undergraduate and 32 post-graduate programs besides doctoral programs. About 5000 students across the country and about 500 international students study on the campus. It is a fully residential campus sprawling over 250 acres with excellent infrastructure, state of the art library, seminar halls, guest houses, and laboratories.

FDP Objectives

This FDP designed with state-of-the-art concepts of Machine Learning, and Deep learning technology that comprises of theory as well as hands-on sessions. Half of the course is designed for theory, use–case demonstrations, and research-oriented discussions, which will be helpful in understanding the process; and the remaining 50% course for practical implementation (hands-on).

In brief, this FDP covers AI, Machine Learning concepts, Types of Learning, Applications of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, The objective was to address modern trends in the field of Artificial Intelligence with real-time problem-solving. This FDP focused on the hands-on implementation of various algorithms to deliver practical skills to participants.

Who can Attend?

The program is open to the faculty and student participants/ Research Scholars of all engineering, colleges, and other allied disciplines in India. Industry personnel working in the concerned/ allied discipline can also attend.

Resource Person

The program will be conducted by the faculty members from NIT Warangal. Experts from Academia, Industry, and Research will handle the theory and hands-on sessions.

Registration Fees
  1. Faculty: Rs. 1,000/- Only
  2. Industry participants: Rs. 2,000/- Only
  3. Students/ Research Scholars: Rs. 250/- Only

Registration

Selection will be done based on first-cum-firstserve basis. Selected candidates will be intimated through e-mail only. On receipt of the proof (Transaction ID) of online payment of registration fee, the applicants will be sent confirmation of their participation through Email.
