The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Andhra Pradesh is organizing an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Deep Learning for NLP from November 23 to 27, 2020.
National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh is an institute of national importance established by the Government of India in 2015 in the state of Andhra Pradesh, located at Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District. The Institute started functioning from its permanent campus, which is spread over 178 acres.
The institute offers B.Tech., M.Tech., M.S. (by Research) programs in various engineering disciplines and Ph D. program in Engineering, School of Sciences and School of Humanities and Management.
The main objective of this FDP on “Deep Learning for NLP” is to impart participants with the know-how of solving problems related to Natural Language Processing such as Language modeling, Sentiment Analysis, Question answering and Machine Translation.
The FDP will comprise of both theoretical and hands-on sessions to provide the participants with a comprehension of the state-of-the-art natural language models such as Latent Dirichlet Allocation, Sequence models and Word Embeddings and deep networks such as Multi-layer Perceptrons, Convolutional Neural Networks, LSTMs and Recurrent Networks.

The participants of the course will be faculty & Ph.D. scholars from technical institutions. A Registration fee of Rs. 500/- needs to be paid.
