The Department of Computer Application, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur is organizing an Online FDP on Cyber Security in Smart Cities from June 14 to 18, 2021.
National Institute of Technology, Raipur situated in the capital of Chhattisgarh has proven to be “Avant-grade’ in the field of science and technology over the past few decades in central India. Founded in 1956 with two engineering disciplines, Mining, and Metallurgy, the institute is one of the oldest institutes in the National Institutes of Technology system. It is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007 and is currently undergoing accelerated growth.
The program will enhance the different prospects of Cyber Security and related techniques for smart cities. No prerequisite is envisaged for participants. In each topic, attempts will be made to build up fundamental concepts followed by research directions for applications of Cyber Security in smart cities.
Who can Attend?
Participants will be selected among faculty members, PG students, Ph.D. scholars & researchers, and practicing engineers from Academia, Government and AICTE approved Non-Government Organizations through the ATAL Academy portal.
Eminent speakers from Foreign Universities, IITs, NITs, CFTIs will deliver the expert lectures.

The FDP will be organized online through the Google Meet link. The link will be shared with the selected participants well in advance. Minimum 80% attendance and scoring 60% marks in the test is mandatory to get participation certificate.
