The Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Andhra Pradesh is organizing an Online Faculty Development Program on Chemistry in Medicine and Materials Science from September 21 to 25, 2020.

National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is the 31st institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. It was established in the state of Andhra Pradesh in 2015 and immediately it started functioning in the transit campus.

Objectives

The key objective of this FDP on “chemistry in medicine and materials science” is to facilitate the participants to gain the knowledge from experts in different fields of chemistry. It directs the faculty to focus on complicated problems while shaping chemistry into materials and medicine.

It is helpful for the faculty, scholars, and students who are mainly interested in organic synthesis, bioinorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, energetic materials, nanotechnology, biomaterials, and advanced materials, etc.

Who can Attend?

Faculty members, Research scholars, Post-graduate and Undergraduate students are invited to apply.
