The Centre for Continuing Education Programme of NIT Warangal and JNTUH are together organizing an Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Alternate Energy Resources & Their Status in India from February 8 to 12, 2021.
National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College was established in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier institute of higher learning and is ranked among the top technical education institutions in India.
The primary cause of global warming is the use of fossil fuels such as oil (petrol, diesel), coal, and gas to produce electrical energy. To reduce global warming as well as usage of fossil fuel and more usage of renewable energy sources.
This Faculty Development Program on “Alternate Energy Resources & Their Status in India” focuses on renewable energy usages and conversion technologies.

Who can Attend?
The program is open to faculty and research scholars of all Engineering colleges and other allied disciplines in India.
Faculty of the Engineering Departments, who have the expertise in these areas will be the core faculty of the workshop. Eminent Faculty from IITs, other premier institutes.
Registration is free for UG/ PG/ Research Scholars and Faculty, Rs.: 500/- for Industry people.
