The Department of Physics, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is organizing an Online Training Program on Scientific Tools for Theoretical Science from February 22 to 26, 2021.
The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat is an institute of national importance, funded by the Government of India. This institute is spread over 100 hectares of land on the Surat-Dumas Road. The Institute is established in 1961 in the State of Gujarat as one of the Regional Engineering Colleges, became the National Institute of Technology (NIT) on 4th October 2002.
Course Objectives
This Virtual One Week STTP on Scientific Tools for Theoretical Science (STTS-2021) delightfully welcomes all the researchers and developers to share their experiences and ideas through research talks and presentations from diverse fields in emerging theoretical Science.
This event offers a platform in bringing together a forum for students, postdocs, and established scientists to exchange their ideas and contributing an integrative approach to theoretical science and experiment.

Registration Fees
The registration fee for the STTP is Rs. 500/- for PG students & research students, Rs. 750/- for faculty members and
Rs.1000/- for industry person. The non-refundable registration fees should be sent through the internet (NEFT). The completed registration form should be sent to lks@phy.svnit.ac.in. The candidates can also send their signed and scanned registration form to the coordinators through email. Maximum 40 participants will be allowed to register. It is compulsory to attend all the sessions for the participants.
