About the Programme
Mission narrated by Hon’ble Prime minister as Team India, Start-up India and Stand-up India, required mechanisms “Reform to Transform”. A civilization’s ability to manufacture new devices has been closely linked to its successful development. Nowadays, manufacturing is acknowledged as an important driver for a nation to generate wealth. In recent world, the requirement of industries is to produce products with minimal harm to the environment, at competitive price, customized features, and quick response to the change in demand.
The workshop aims to enlighten the latest advances in manufacturing processes pertinent to making new age products and prototypes. These workshops encourage new ideas to be exchanged in a multitude of engineering domains amongst contemporary researchers.
The magnitude of these efforts has increased over time and resulted in a higher level of thinking and execution which helps today’s engineers navigate their lives and careers. The events of workshop comprise of lectures and demonstrations on the state of art manufacturing processes.
Lecture sessions will be conducted by the expert faculties from IITs, NITs and other reputed Universities.
Rolling Forming, Wire ECM, Sheet Metal Forming, Joining by Forming, Influence of Manufacturing on Properties of Intermetallics, Superplastic Forming, 3D Printing, High Energy Rate Forming, Avenues in Biomedical engineering in present era, Fabrication & Characterization of Composite Materials, Surface
