The Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal invites applications for an Online Workshop on SWAT models from April 5 to 9, 2021.
National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly known as Regional Engineering College was established in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier institute of higher learning and is ranked among the top technical education institutions in India.
The following major topics will be covered in this introductory SWAT training course:
- SWAT Model Introductory Concepts
- Applications and case studies on SWAT model
- Hands-on experience on SWAT model
Who can Attend?
The program is open to the Faculty and Ph.D. scholars/ PG students of Civil Engineering and allied disciplines. Industry personnel working in the concerned/ allied discipline can also attend. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for getting the participation E-Certificate of the event.

Selection will be done based on first-cum-first-serve basis and the confirmed candidates will be notified by email upon receipt of the registration. The maximum number of participants will be 100 (Hundred). All the selected candidates need to download and install QGIS and QSWAT on their laptops/desktops before starting the workshop.
