Enter your most powerful photos for a chance to win the 2018 National Geographic Photo Contest. We are looking for images that show us the world: its wildlife, places, and people. Enter your photos that tell the story of a place, show us the wildlife you have encountered, or share visions of people from around the globe. Help us explore and experience our world.
Contest is open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry and who reside in the United States, its territories (excluding Puerto Rico) and the District of Columbia, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Canada (excluding Quebec), Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.
Photos may be submitted to three categories: wildlife, people, and places.
The prizes will be distributed, in the following manner:
The grand prize winner will receive $5,000.
Three first place winners will receive $2,500.
Three second place winners will receive $1,500.
Three third place winners will receive $750.
