The next batch of mindful strokes starts on 5th June. Into it’s 5th batch these sessions have been hugely popular with people of all age groups and have helped them get the much needed distraction from these grim times.
A total of 8 sessions spread over 4 weeks, Mindful Strokes is a series of art exercises and interactions which enables the participant to focus on the “Here and Now” and helps her/him to feel centred and calm.
To encourage participants to look within, at their feelings, their state of mind and to then engage in exercises which helps them to express themselves uninhibitedly and help achieve a state of calm or mindfulness.
The exercises will result in strengthening the following:
- Let go of Fear
- Ability to calm down and concentrate
- Power to express and communicate
