About the Programme
The MDP on Forecasting and Business Analytics is organised by IIM Kozhikode from Dec 5-7, 2019.
In the age of analytics, appreciation and understanding of numbers is no longer a desirable skill but is a required competency. Like the age of information technology which preceded it, analytics is forcing organizations – big or small, private or public, local or multinational – to rethink and redesign their way of working. Analytics has become crucial from long term planning to daily execution, and across all functional areas.
It is hence imperative the business professionals equip themselves to be able to develop along with their respective organizations. Business planning typically starts from forecasting and then uses various analytical tools and techniques to conceptualize the plan of action and their use continues in execution also. This program seeks to cover various conceptual and managerial issues associated with forecasting and analytics.
