Admissions Open: MBA/ B.Ed. Entrance Examination @ IGNOU, Multiple Locations: Apply by July 5: Expired
About:
NTA shall conduct the Entrance examinations of IGNOU’s MBA (OPENMAT) & B.Ed programmes on 27th July 2019 for the January 2020 admissions of these courses.
Eligibility:
- MBA: The eligibility criteria for admission to MBA programme would be as per the AICTE norms viz.
- Any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for
general category/45% for reserved category as per government of India rules. - Student s should ensure that his/her CGPA should meet the eligibility percentage requirement
- Clearance of OPENMAT entrance test of IGNOU conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
- No age bar
- Any graduate (Including Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy/Company Secretaryship) with 50% marks for
- B.Ed.:Â Candidates with-
- at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto,
and - The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL):
- Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
- Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
- at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto,

Program Fee:
- Programme Fee for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme is Rs. 50,000/-
- Fees are charged course wise which is Rs. 1800 per course. Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme consists of 21 courses in all. Project Course (MS-100) is equivalent to 2 courses.
Duration:
The minimum duration of the programme is two years. However, the maximum period allowed for completion of the programme is five years.
