Call for Papers: Manipal University’s Symposium on Security in Computing and Communications [Karnataka, Sept 13-16]: Submit by May 31: Expired

Current networking and distributed systems are highly vulnerable and can be easily compromised by attacks. Research on secure computing and communication has gained more and more attention and its major goal is to make systems measurable, available, sustainable, secure and trustworthy.

The Fifth International Symposium on Security in Computing and Communications (SSCC’17) aims to provide the most relevant opportunity to bring together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to exchange their knowledge and discuss their research findings.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer in Communications in Computer and Information Science Series (CCIS), ISSN: 1865:0929. The proceedings will be available via the SpringerLink digital library. CCIS is abstracted/indexed in DBLP, Google Scholar, EI-Compendex, Mathematical Reviews, SCImago and Scopus. CCIS volumes are also submitted for the inclusion in ISI Proceedings. The current SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) of CCIS is 0.15

The Conference will feature plenary/keynote talks, workshops, demonstrations, parallel technical sessions and tutorials.

Important Dates:

  • Papers Due: May 31
  • Acceptance Notification: June 25
  • Final Paper Deadline: July 10

The program committee solicits previously unpublished papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of security in computing and communications. Papers without a clear application to security, however, will be considered out of scope and may be rejected without full review. Simultaneous submission of the same paper to another venue with proceedings or a journal is not allowed and will be grounds for automatic rejection.
