Qualifications
  • Graduate in Library & Information Science (B.L.I.Sc.,/ B.Lib.Sc.) from a reputed University/ Institution.
  • Students who have appeared for a final exam and awaiting results may also apply.
  • Basic Knowledge of computer and working knowledge of any library software (Koha, Libsys, etc.), institutional repository software (DSpace, Eprints, etc.), web design languages (HTML, CSS, PHP, etc.), and above 60% academic performance
Salary

Rs.20,000/- per month (Consolidated).

Duration

The Trainee program is not regular employment and does not entitle any privileges or benefits of regular employment. It is only a temporary study program for imparting training.

The tenure of the training program is for a period one year and extendable by another year, subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and existence of the need.
