“Electronics & ICT Academy” was set up at NIT Warangal with financial assistance from MeitY, GoI. The jurisdiction of this academy is Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
This academy’s role is to offer faculty development programme in standardized courses and emerging areas of Electronics, Information Communication Technologies, training & consultancy services for Industry, Curriculum development for Industry, CEP for working
professionals, Advice and support for technical incubation and entrepreneurial activities.
About the FDP
Artificial intelligence (AI) is wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry.
Machine learning feeds a computer data and uses statistical techniques to help it “learn” how to get progressively better at a task, without having been specifically programmed for that task, eliminating the need for millions of lines of written code.
This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning using Python” aims at providing an opportunity to enhance the knowledge about the latest technologies pertaining to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
This FDP would provide participants with the guidelines to explore the area of Artificial intelligence and its applications. The participants would learn to develop methods for solving problems related to diverse computational fields.
The Programme will be coordinated and conducted by the Computer Science and Engineering department of KLH (Deemed to be University), Aziz Nagar, Hyderabad.
The whole course will be accomplished by academicians from premier institutions, Industry experts and Research advisors.

Faculty conducting this program
The program will be conducted by the faculty members from NIT Warangal; Academicians in the concerned field from IITs/NITs/IIITs are invited to deliver lectures in the program. Speakers from industries are also expected to deliver as part of the course.
The program is open to the faculty of Engineering Colleges, MCA Colleges and other allied disciplines in India. Industry personnel working in the concerned /allied discipline can also attend.
No TA/DA will be paid to the participants. Working Lunch, Tea & Snacks and Dinner would be provided during the training at KLH campus. Boys/Girls Hostel Non-AC accommodation will be provided.

How to apply
A filled in form of application in the prescribed format duly signed and sponsored by appropriate authorities (along with demand draft) should reach the coordinator by speed-post. It is also mandatory to send scanned application form and demand draft through e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org as selection will be intimated only through mail.
Selection will be done based on first-cum-first-serve basis and the confirmed candidates will be notified immediately. The maximum number of participants will be 50 (fifty). Additionally 10 participants from industry are allowed to participate.
The list of selected participants will be notified through their personal e-mail ids and through our website .
In case a candidate is not selected, the demand draft will be sent back. A test will be conducted at the end of the course. Candidates will be issued satisfactory certificates on successful completion of the course. Reservations are followed for selecting candidates as per GOI norms.
