Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) is organising a volunteer generation drive from 16th August 2017 at their Gurgaon office.
Kaivalya Education Foundation (KEF) has direct intervention in 110 govt. schools of Gurugram district. As a part of the program, it is important that a neutral third party assessment of the learning level of children happens in these schools.
Education Initiatives (EI) is our partner in this assessment design. The execution of this assessment, however, can’t be done by the Gandhi Fellows working in these schools.
Thus, we try to get volunteers for the assessment. Normally, we approach colleges and try to get students for the task but most of the colleges in Sohna are going through their admission processes and the upcoming flurry of holidays have affected the attendance of the senior students.
If we get around 30 volunteers who are willing to work in the schools of Sohna block, our work would be done. Ideally, we look for a 7-day engagement.
- Training – 1 day that is on 16th August.
- Field execution – 3 days
- Data entry and coding – 3 days
Even a 3-day engagement during the field execution would also be of great value.
A volunteer gets a certificate of participation along with a nominal payment of Rs.300/day during field execution and Rs.200/day for training and data entry.
The assessments would happen between 16th to 26th August preceded by a one-day orientation.
