Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow to work in the IUAC (An Autonomous Centre of UGC), New Delhi, research project.
Punjabi University is a state university located in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established on 30 April 1962, and is only the second university in the world to be named after a language, after Hebrew University of Israel.
Luminescence studies of swift heavy ion irradiated rare earth doped MgO based nanophosphors under the supervision of Dr. Anup Thakur (Principal Investigator), Department of Basic and Applied Science, Punjabi University, Patiala and Dr. Ankush Vij (Co-PI), Department of Physics, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttrakhand.
M.Sc. in Physics/AppIied Physics/ Nano-Science with at least 55% marks for general category (50% in case of SC/ST/PH) with consistently good academic records. For JRF either a valid GATE score or NET is required.
- NET/GATE qualified- 25,000/- p.m. (fixed).
- Non-GATE/Non-NET- 14,000/- p.m. (fixed).
Approximately six months or till the end of the project.
