Applications are invited for Two (02), purely temporary, positions in the research project “Development of Security Search Engine”, funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. Initially, the appointment will be made for one year/ duration of the project.

Qualification

MS/MTech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred. Bachelors with 2+ years of work experience in software development will be considered. Candidate must have good coding skills and must have some knowledge in Application Security. Any experience in working in a research set up is a plus.

Salary

For both JRF posts, salary will be Rs.25,000/- per month (subject to revision)

Area of Work

The growth of IT and the internet is leading to cyberattacks, however, lack of Security Search Engine is making users refer multiple sites for security information. We are building Security Information Retrieval and Extraction eNgine (SIREN), a search engine for ’Information and Cyber Security’ with coverage across the subdomains of security.

Responsibilities
  • Literature reviews
  • Build prototypes using web application stacks
  • Develop and deploy components and applications (as needed)
  • Security Analytics
