Bharathiar University is a state university in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Named after Tamil poet Subramania Bharathiar, the university was established in February 1982 under the provision of Bharathiar University Act, 1981 and was recognized by the University Grants Commission in 1985.

Walk-in-Interview is called for the posts of JRF and Field Assistant to work under the SWM Project titled, “Municipal solid waste characterization and quantification as a measure towards effective waste management for Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation”.

Post Details

1. Junior Research Fellow
  • No. of Positions: 01
  • Eligibility: PG Degree
  • Desirable: Candidates with NET/GATE/NET-LS
  • Duration: Three months
  • Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- per month
2. Field Assistant
  • No. of Positions: 05
  • Eligibility: UG Degree
  • Duration: Three months
  • Fellowship: Rs. 15,000/- per month
