IIT Hyderabad invites applications for JRF posts under DST and SERB funded projects for the year 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on or before 23 Feb and 1 March.

Junior Research Fellow (DST)

Project Title: “Exploring Novel Nucleoside Analogues to Probe the Key Protein-DNA Interactions Using Spectroscopic Tools”.

Principal Investigator: Dr Krishna Gavvala

Tenure of the Project 24 months

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Chemistry/Biology) with a minimum of 60% Marks Monthly Stipend As per the norms of SERB

Desirable: With CSIR/UGC-NET or valid GATE score; Experience in spectroscopy is a plus.

JRF (SERB)

Applications are invited from bright, young candidates for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the project entitled “Rechargeable Zinc-ion Batteries with Specially Designed Cell Configurations for Long Cycle Life and Good Reversibility (CRG/2020/000482)” sponsored by SERB.

Minimum Qualification: M. Sc. (Chemistry) with 60% marks with a valid GATE score or CSIR-UGC-NET(LS)

Emoluments: Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA p.m. (For candidates with a valid GATE score or CSIR-UGC- NET (LS), As per SERB norms)

Duration of the Project: Approximately 2 years 10 months

Age Limit: 28 years
