Junior Research Fellow
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.
Project title: Realizing distributed quantum computing with silicon-based spin qubits
Funding Agency: DST
Education: Master’s degree in Physics or related fields such as Engineering physics, OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Electrical engineering/Applied Physics/Engineering Physics, with a minimum of 60% marks, selected through a process prescribed in any one of the following (a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests-UGC NET including lectureship and GATE. Or (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by MHRD and its Agencies and institutions such as UGC / llT / llSc / IISERs / lllTs etc.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge and experience in (i) semiconductor device processing, fabrication techniques such as lithography, metallization, etching (ii) Electrical and Electronic instrumentation, Computer interfacing (iii) electrical characterization techniques, cryogenic instrumentation
Tenure: 01-Year and extendable by one more Year subjective to the satisfactory performance of the candidate
Age: 28 Years or below as on the closing date of application, Age relaxation as per GOI rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
Fellowship: Rs. 31000/- + HRA p/m

The Institute invites applications for the following project position on contract basis:
Project Title: J C Bose National Fellowship Funds
Funding Agency: DST-SERB
Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with organic chemistry as specialization. 3 Years Post-doctoral experience. Research experience in the design and development of novel organic materials.
Desirable: Published research articles in the area of organic synthesis and organic materials in journals of international repute.
Tenure: One Year and extendable by one year subjective to satisfactory performance
Age: 37 Years or below as on the closing date of application; relaxation as per DST norms for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.
Amount: Rs. 49000 + HRA/-
