Design and development of fibre ring loop down (FRLD) based monitoring system for roof safety measure in underground mines.

Maximum three years or till the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
The candidate is expected to perform experiments and mathematical analysis related to
design and development of fibre loop ringdown type instrumentation system for roof safety
the measure of underground mines and document research findings under the supervision of the Project Investigator.
B.Tech or B.E. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline with a minimum of 70%
marks/CGPA of 7.5 (on a 10 point scale). Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Instrumentation /Control system/Optoelectronics or equivalent with first class. 7.0 OGPA (in case the first class is not mentioned) will be considered as first class.
Candidate with knowledge about the design and development of optical fibre based
instrumentation system is desirable.
(if any) The upper limit is 30 years at the time of appointment. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per GOI rules.
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (if applicable) for first 2 years and Rs 35,000/- + HRA (if applicable)
for 3rd year (provided the candidate satisfy the norms set by DST, SERB) for the third year.
