1. Junior Research Fellow/ Project Assistant (01)
Project Title

Synthesis of Pseudoproteins by TAAC reactions


The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying degree.

For JRF: MSc Chemistry with valid NET qualification.

For Project Assistant: In case a suitable candidate with the above qualifications is not found, candidates with MSc Chemistry may be considered for the post of Project Assistant.

Research Experience is highly desirable. Work experience certificate should be provided as proof.


JRF = 31,000 + HRA / Project Assistant = 22,000 (consolidated)


One year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.

2. Junior Research Fellow (01)
Project Title

Terahertz spectroscopic studies of layered 2-D materials (Funded by SERB)


MSc/ MTech in Physics/ Photonics/ Materials Science with 60% marks. And qualified in a national Level Examination( CSIR-UGC, NET including lectureship, GATE, JEST or equivalent).

Preference will be given to those with experience in optical experiments using femtosecond lasers and/or those with published research work of high quality in related areas. The upper age limit shall be 26 years on the day of application. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and women candidates.


Rs. 31,000/- p.m.


The initial appointment will be for a year but extendable up to three years based on the performance and availability of funds.
