Applications are invited for JRF (Marine Geology and Geophysics) Under DST-SERB Funded Project at CUSAT for the year 2022. The last date of application is 27 March.

Applications are invited for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the research project funded by DST-SERB, Govt of India, at the Department of Marine Geology and Geophysics, Cochin University of Science and Technology.

The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year, which is extendable up to maximum of three years, solely based on performance. In completion of two years the fellow may be awarded Senior Research Fellowship after satisfactory assessment.

High-pressure granulites in the Archean crustal blocks of Southern Granulite Terrain, southern India.

  • Essential: M.Sc in Geology/Marine Geology/Applied Geology. Preference will be given to candidates qualified national level eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC JRF/NET, GATE etc.
  • Age limit: Maximum 28 years (for general category). Age relaxations up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women and physically handicapped candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates.
