Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University, is a state university located in Delhi, India. It was established in 1998 as a teaching-cum-affiliating university.
Applications are invited for the post of – Junior Research Fellow-JRF/ Junior Project Fellow -JPF (one) for a research project funded by GB Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment & Sustainable Development, Kosi-Almora (MoEF&CC, GoI) under IERP scheme entitled “Development of updated landslide hazard map of Sikkim state”
- M.Sc./M. Tech (Geology/Geosciences/Geoinformatics), Environmental Science -passed in Good Second Class having knowledge of geological mapping, computer, Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System (RS&GIS). Willingness for extensive field-works in Northeastern Himalayan terrain is highly desirable.
- Preference will be given to NET qualified candidate, Non NET candidate may also attend the interview
Not exceeding 28 years (Age relaxation as per rule)
Rs. 31,000 + HRA @24% per month for NET qualified candidate and Rs 16,000 per month + HRA @24% per month for none NET qualified candidate.
This fellowship is purely temporary and shall be provided for the project/scheme duration (one year) and the progress performance of the fellow. Selection for fellowship shall not confer any right of regular appointment in the University.
