Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project entitled “Fabrication of Silicon Photonic Nanostructured Devices for Optical Communication and Interconnects” funded by Nano Mission Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
The project is broadly in the area of Integrated Photonics. Selected JRF will be involved in the design, fabrication and optical characterization of on-chip photonic devices.
The initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years based on performance. Selected candidate may be considered for admission to Ph.D. Program as a regular full-time scholar at IIT Indore.
M.E./M.Tech. in a relevant branch of Electronics/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Microelectronics/Optoelectronics/Nanotechnology/VLSI design/RF & Microwave Engineering. Candidates should have a minimum of 60 % (or equivalent) in graduate and post-graduate levels.
