Applications are invited for JRF (Chemistry) Under SERB Funded Project at IISER Mohali for the year 2021. The last date of application is 17 August.
Title of the project
Studies on the construction of enantiomerically enriched medium-sized ring-based dibenzoazepine, dibenzoazocine and allocolchicine biaryl alkaloid motifs containing amino acid and amino alcohol backbone via C-H functionalization route and their biological activities
5 Months (may be extendable depending on the DST’s approval).
Essential qualifications: MSc/MS degree in Chemistry/Chemical Sciences (or equivalent degree) with NET/CSIR/UGC-JRF (or) GATE qualification.
Preferred/Desired essential qualification: Given the nature of the work and short duration of the project, candidates having prior experience on working with similar type of research projects and co-authored publications will be highly preferred. Applications received will be shortlisted and only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.
