Applications are invited for a post of JRF (for DST-SERB project ECR/2016/001936) with following details:
Project Title: Investigations of Fluid and Granular Jet Impact with Erosion Effects Principal
Position: Project Engineer (JRF),
Salary: INR 25,000 consolidated for JRF,
Duration: The appointment will be initially made for a period of one year, but the tenure is extendable up to 3 years. The selected candidate may have to join immediately.
Minimum Qualification: M.Tech. degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering (65 % marks or equivalent CGPA of 7.0).
Desirable: GATE score in relevant discipline. Candidates with a strong background in C/C++ programming skills, high performance parallel computing, mathematics and computational physics are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who have expertise in using open source code, LAMMPS (Large-scale Atomic/Molecular Massively Parallel Simulator) for running and modification of granular package are encouraged to apply.
Candidates with interest in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) using lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) are also encouraged.
Candidates with the interest in the relevant areas related to the project title are welcomed to apply.
Age Limit: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years.
Age relaxation: (SC/ST/OBC and differently abled candidates will be entitled for the relaxation in age limit as per the government norms).
