JRF (Chemical Engineering) Under SERB Funded Project at NIT Calicut: Apply by Nov 5

Applications are invited for JRF (Chemical Engineering) Under SERB Funded Project at NIT Calicut for the year 2021. The last date of application is 5 November.

An online interview for the engagement of a Junior Research Fellow (on contract basis) for a SERB Research in the Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Calicut, is scheduled to be held on 05/11/2021 at 3:00 p.m.

Project Title

Development of Electrospun Membranes with graded Hydrophobicity for Membrane Distillation.

Eligibility

M.E./ M.Tech/MSc in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science/ Engineering, Nanotechnology, Chemistry or allied fields with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in UG and /or PG selected through a process described through any of the following:

  • Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test like GATE or
  • The selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DRDO, MHRD,IISc.,IIT, IISER, etc.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in the relevant field is desirable

Application

Candidates have to send an application form in the prescribed format (annexed) as e-mail to hodchemical[at]nitc.ac.in with the subject “JRFApplication – SERB/DST/NJK/CHED.”The self-attested copy of all the relevant certificates/document proofs scanned and merged as a single PDF file also has to be sent along with the application form. The details regarding the conduct of the interview will be informed to the eligible candidates viae-mail.

Last date to receive the submission of online application: 03.11.2021 at 05:00p.m

Salary

Consolidated monthly fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month.

Duration

Initially for one year (on contract basis) and extendable further subject to performance and availability of project fund.
