Applications are invited to attend Online Interview in a SERB funded project at Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as mentioned below. The post is purely on contractual basis.

Project title

SERB funded project entitled “Unravelling the candidate genomic regions regulating MYMIV resistance and extra earliness traits in mungbean using RNA-Seq and Genotyping-By-Sequencing approaches”.

Eligibility

Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (i.e Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Plant Science/ Life Sciences) OR Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (i.e. Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology/ Plant Pathology/ Bioinformatics) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE. DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR. IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Desirable: Experience in molecular markers and or proficiency in bioinformatics tools

Age limit: Maximum age 35 years for JRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

Salary

Rs.31000/- + 24% HRA
