JRF (Agricultural Biotechnology) at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat: Walk-in-Interview on Dec 28: Expired

A walk-in-interview for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is scheduled to be held on 28th December, 2020, in the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, at 10:30 AM. The post is purely temporary and will be terminated on completion of the project.

Project title

Engineering of CRISPR/Cas9-mediated Potato Virus Y (PVY) resistance in Bhut jolokia (Capsicum chinense).

Eligibility

M. Sc. in Agril. Biotechnology/Biotechnology/ Life sciences (Candidates having hands-on experience in the area of molecular biology/ plant-tissue culture will be preferred).

Duration

3 Months.

Salary

For NET/GATE/BET/ BINC qualified candidates; or those having a professional degree: Rs. 25000.00 + HRA for first two years; Rs. 28000.00 + HRA for third year. Others: Rs. 12000.00 + HRA for first two years; Rs. 14000.00 + HRA for third year.
