The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (abbreviated IIT Jammu) is a public research university located in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The Institute came into existence in 2016 when a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Department of Higher Education, Government of Jammu & Kashmir and Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, was signed.
IIT Jammu invites online applications from qualified Indian Nationals for filling up the post of Supervisor (Electrical). The Internal Works Departments will appoint one Supervisor (Electrical) who will work for
Supervision of all internal Electrical work and supervision of OEM contract staff for operations and maintenance of Substations, DG sets HVAC plant of IIT Campus.
No. of Post
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Govt. Institute with two years of relevant experience
- Preference will be given to candidate passed out from NIT/IIT.
The Supervisor (Electrical) will assist JE (Electrical) and Supervision of Electrician and OEM contract staff for operations and maintenance of Substations, DG sets HVAC plant of IIT Campus. All internal campus maintenance, all defects and operations of the distribution system, lighting ventilation ACs and other official work.
Consolidated salary of ₹27,000 to 32,000 per month based on qualification.
Duration and Nature of Position
The appointment will be purely temporary on contractual basis for a period of one year.
