JOB POST: Research Associate at IIT Indore: Apply by May 15: Expired

Discipline of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, invites applications from motivated and eligible candidates to work as a Research Associate to fulfil the objectives of a SERB funded research project entitled “Designing of Mn-Based Catalysts for Conversion of Ethanol to Butanol “. The aim of the project is to do computational studies of earth abundant Mn-based complexes for conversion of ethanol to butanol.

Essential Qualification

PhD or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MSc in Chemistry or equivalent with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Candidate must have good knowledge of homogenous catalysts, and computational techniques. Good communication skills are essential for the sponsored research project.

Duration

Initially for 12 months (co-terminus with the project)

Fellowship

Rs. 47,000 + HRA (as per rules)

Age Limit

35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates will be as per Government of India norms.

Nature of Post

The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA & DA will be paid for attending the interview.
