1. Individual Consultant – Project Assistant – Plastic Waste Management
  • No. of Posts: 06
  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social science, rural management, environment engineering with waste management or related area. Master’s Degree is preferable.
  • Experience: Minimum experience of 1 year is essential.
  • Language requirements Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi. Malayalam for Kerala, Gujarati for Ahmedabad, Bengali for Howrah and Bengali or Tamil for Port Blair is added advantage.
  • Salary: Payment would be INR 45,000 per month and on a monthly basis.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Liaison and Network with various stakeholders, both government and nongovernment, during the execution of the projects in coordination with Implementing Partner (IP). Ensure proper letters are issued for augmenting the collection of at least 5 MTs of all plastic by IP.
    • Organise Capacity building, Resource mobilization and Knowledge management programs related to project activities in coordination with IP, particularly oversight the book-keeping; accounts and the business model approach.  Initiate the required trainings at the IP level and related stakeholders.
    • Facilitate through IP, enterprise development by creating women self-help group to empower women.
    • Act as a focal point in the city for UNDP.  Ensure partnerships to happen with all types of bulk generators, a minimum of 10 institutions per month.
    • Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time by the senior management at IP and UNDP.

2. Individual Consultant – Block Project Coordinator– Rural Housing
  • No. of Posts: 01
  • Educational qualifications: University degree with PGDCA or certificate in computers
  • Experience: Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience
  • Language: Knowledge of written and spoken English and Odia
  • Duration: The contract will be awarded for one year initially. Working days will be as per the State Government policy
  • Salary: Consolidated Annual Consultancy Fee (Remuneration) of Rs. 172,344/- (@ Rs.14,362/- per month) payable in equal monthly instalments, upon submission of monthly progress report certified by the reporting officer
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Ensure online entry of beneficiary profiles in AwaasSoft and Rural Housing portal
    • Tracking the Gram Panchayat/Village-wise progress through field visits
    • Maintain online Case Records of the beneficiaries of Rural Housing, toilets and other housing-related benefits like wages under NREGA
    • Organize and support the conduct of mason training programmes. Assist the technical team in the conduct of training to local work teams/groups for construction of houses and community infrastructure on construction quality standards measures and practices.
    • Monitor tagging of beneficiaries with Block officials and CBOs/NGOs
    • Establish systems and procedures that support the Block Authorities to manage and monitor community mobilization and capacity development activities
    • Assist communities in the integration of other schemes like MGNREGA and Swatch Bharat Abhiyan along with housing.
    • Any other housing-related tasks assigned by the Block Development Officer and District Project Coordinator
