Tamil Nadu Dr J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) is the 20th university in Tamil Nadu, founded in 2012 in Nagapattinam, Nagapattinam district. It was established under Tamil Nadu Fisheries University Act, 2012.

The following temporary vacancies (Technical) are available in the “Tamil Nadu irrigation Agriculture Modernization Project” (TNIAMP) and “Aqua One Centre” (AOC) scheme implemented by this Directorate at its outstations in Tamil Nadu.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

B.F.Sc. with OGPA 7.5/10.0 and above from any recognized State Agricultural University OR M.Sc. {Life Sci) with 60% and above marks from any recognized University OR B.Sc. (Life Sci) with marks 60% and above with 2 to 3 years of experience in water quality analysis.

Remuneration
  • Project Assistant: Rs.10,000/-pm
  • Lab Assistant: Rs.10,000/-pm
Nature of Post

All the above vacancies are purely temporary and co-terminus with the Scheme.

Interview Procedure

Interested eligible candidates can attend the “Walk-in-Interview” on 12.11.2019 – between 2:00 and 5:00 pm {entry registration restricted only up to 03.00 pm) at Directorate of Centres for Sustainable Aquaculture, Pattukottai Raod, Soorakkottai, Thanjavur with their resumes and all the original certificates for their educational and essential qualifications at their own cost.
