About the Organization
Department of Agriculture Cooperation & Farmers Welfare a branch of the Government of India, is the apex body for formulation and administration of the rules and regulations and laws related to agriculture in India. The DAC&FW is organized into 28 Divisions and has five attached offices and twenty-one subordinate offices which are spread across the country for coordination with state level agencies and implementation of Central Sector Schemes in their respective fields.
- Qualifications: Master Degree in Economics/Statistics/Agri-business/International Trade/MBA or equivalent. Candidates should have proficiency in handling computer (MS Office, PowerPoint etc.)
- Desirable: M.Phil./PhD or additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the relevant field as prescribed in the job description below
- Work Experience: Minimum of one-year work experience relevant to the job description. The board work experience will be based on the functional areas assigned to Department of Agriculture. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field supported by published work/policy papers/appraisal/monitoring of projects & schemes etc.
- Age: Below 35 years.
