JOB POST: Team Leaders at UNICEF, New Delhi: Apply by May 5

UNICEF invites job applications for Full-time Contract Team Leaders for New Delhi location for the year 2020. The consultant will be primarily responsible for handling daily field functions of Face2Face fundraisers, comprising of 4/5 staff(F2F) The Fundraising team Leader located at different tier -I cities across the country is also expected to provide need-based support to another city.

  • Educational Qualification – High school and above.
  • 2-3 years of experience of leading a Face to Face team as team leader.
  • Experience working within an In-House environment is preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate recent acquisition from field-based team leading activities
  • Good knowledge of English is a must.

  • Prior experience of working with International Non- Profit Organizations / UN in any part of the world.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to F2F Fundraisers and support senior management in day to day running of operation
  • Support Senior F2F Fundraising manager
  • Maintain an understanding of UNICEFS programmes, campaigns and causes, to be able to talk convincingly to potential supporters about the organisation’s work and ensure team members can do the same. This includes keeping up to date with projects and news that affects the team, participating in training, talking with relevant UNICEF staff, undertaking individual research, etc.
  • Be responsible for achieving personal daily/ weekly targets and F2F fundraising team targets where required, in accordance with agreed Key Performance indicators (KPIs). This may include setting targets for individual team members and managing their performance with the support of the Senior F2F Manager, and meeting personal fundraising targets.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior F2F Fundraising management
  • Ensure the effective and accurate administration is completed
  • Work together cooperatively with and support other F2F team leaders and fundraisers.
  • Represent and also ensure that team members represent UNICEF in the public sphere in a positive and inspiring manner.
  • Actively participate in wider Engagement team-building, group, or UNICEF /region-wide activities or meetings as required.
  • Undertake any other tasks that may be delegated by the Senior F2F Fundraising Manager that are in keeping with the scope of the role.
  • Develop and understanding of field technique and global best practice.
