Essential Qualifications
1. Research Associate (RA-I)

First-class M.Sc./M.Tech. in Computer Science with a PG Diploma in RS/GIS/Geo-informatics/with minimum three-year research experience in remote sensing/GIS applications in Web GIS.

Note: At least one research paper published in the peer-reviewed ISSN journal.

Or

First Class M.Tech. in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing/Geospatial Technology with a minimum of three years of research experience in remote sensing/ GIS applications in Web GIS.

Note: At least one research paper published in the peer-reviewed ISSN journal.

Or

Ph.D.  in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing/ Geospatial Technology.

Note: At least one research paper published in the peer-reviewed ISSN journal.

2. Research Associate (RA-III)

Ph.D. in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Optical Remote Sensing)/Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of

Geo-spatial techniques in Ph.D. research work.

Or

1st Class Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology /Environmental Sciences/ Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 3-year Research experience relevant to Optical Data Remote Sensing & Image Classification.

and

At least One research Paper published in Peer-Reviewed Journal.

UGC/ CSIRNET/ ASRB-NET/ GATE qualified candidates shall be given preference and, in the subjects, where UGC/ CSIR/ ASRB does not conduct the NET exam exemption will be given. Persons having experience in FASAL/CAPE project will be given preference

3. Research Associate (RA-III)

Ph.D. in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Microwave Remote Sensing)/ Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of Geospatial techniques in Ph.D. research work.

or

1st Glass Master’s degree in RemoteSensing/GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology /Environmental Sciences/Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 3-year Research experience relevant to Microwave Data Remote Sensing & Image Classification and at least One research Paper published in Peer-Reviewed Journal.

4. Research Associate (RA-I)

Doctorate or equivalent degree in Geo-informatics.

Or

3 Years of research experience after 1st Class M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.E. in Remote Sensing /GIS/ Geo-Informatics / Spatial Information System Geomatics

Or

3 years of research experience after 1 Class Master’s degree in Geography / Geology / Mining with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University / Institute.

Note: Experience with remote sensing in geological/mining studies will be given preference.  At least one research paper published in the peer-reviewed ISSN journal.

5. Jr. Project Assistant (JPA)

ITI in Geoinformatics Assistant (GIA). ITI in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) with 1-year experience in GIS

Note: Experience in GIS with hands-on experience in digitization, Attribute coding, geo-referencing, etc will be given preference. 

Tenure

The appointment in the projects will be purely on contract and co-terminus with the project. The selected candidates will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit on any post. Candidates are required to mention the exact percentage of marks obtained by them against each column of qualifications. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written/Skill test/ Walk-in-Interview.

How to Apply

The appointment in all the projects will be purely on contractual basis for the period as mentioned above or earlier or extendable as per project requirement. Eligible candidates may attend the  Written/Skill test/ Walk-in-Interview on 11.01.2020 at 10:30 AM sharp at HARSAC, CCSHAU Campus, Hisar with duly filled in the application form, original and self-attested copies of testimonials/certificates and application fee of Rs. 200/- in the form of IPO or Demand Draft drawn in favor of Director, HARSAC, Hisar.

Essential Qualifications

Or

1st Class Master’s degree in Agronomy/ Meteorology /Environmental Sciences/ Geography/ Computer Science with PG Diploma in Remote Sensing/GIS/ Geoinformatics from recognized University.

UGC/ CSIRNET/ ASRB-NET/ GATE qualified candidates shall be given preference and, in the subjects, where UGC/ CSIR/ ASRB does not conduct the NET exam exemption will be given. Persons having experience in FASAL/CAPE project or with 2- year Research experience relevant to Optical/ Microwave Data Remote Sensing & crop Classification will be given preference.

2. Project Fellow

1st Class M.Sc/ M.Tech/M.E. in Remote Sensing / GIS/ Geo-informatics / Geospatial technology / Geomatics .

Or

Master degree in Geography with a PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University / Institute.

Note:  experience with Geospatial technology in Urban Planning Studies will be given preference.

3. Project Assistant 

M.Tech/M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/GIS/Spatial Information Technology/ Information Technology/Master of Computer Applications.

Or

Master degree in Geography with a PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University / Institute

Note: Experience with geospatial technology in urban planning studies will be given preference. 

4. Project Fellow (PF)

1st Class M.Sc. / M.Tech / M.E. in Remote Sensing / GIS /Geo-Informatics/ Geo Spatial technologies / Geomatics.

Or

Master degree in Geography / Geology / Mining with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University / Institute

Note: Experience with remote sensing in geological/mining studies will be given preference.

5. Project Assistant  (PA)

M.Tech/M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing / Geo-informatics / GIS/  Spatial Information Technology

Or

Master degree in Geography/Geology/Mining with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University/ Institute

Note: Experience with remote sensing in geological/mining studies will be given preference.

6. Project Fellow

1st Class Masters in Environmental Science or equivalent discipline / Physics with PG Diploma in RS and GIS (specialization in atmospheric sciences).

Or

1st Class Masters in RS and GIS with experience in satellite-based air quality parameters modeling.

Work experience in GIS / RS, knowledge/degree of computer and coding, Research papers in a peer-reviewed journal will be preferred.

7. Project Assistant

Master in Environmental Science or equivalent discipline/Physics.

Work experience in GIS / RS, knowledge/degree of computer and coding, Research papers in a peer-reviewed journal will be preferred.
