  • Designing 3-D printed foods for personalized nutrition (RA- 1 Vacancy)

Qualification: Ph.D. in Food Process Engineering/ Food and Agrl. Process Engineering/ Food Science and Technology/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Chemical Engineering (or) Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other  engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated.30.01.2019.

  • Development of non-dairy synbiotic food to ensure food safety and combat hidden hunger deficiency (SRF)

Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Nanotechnology (or) M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

  • Active Intelligent Packaging system with antimicrobial agents for fruits and vegetables (SRF)

Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering /Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology/ Processing and Food Engineering / Food science and Nutrition/Packaging Technology/Chemical Engineering/Electronic engineering/Biotechnology (or) M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

  • Shelf-life enhancement in millets (SRF)

Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Processing and Food Engineering / Food Technology/Food science and Nutrition / Packaging Technology/Biotechnology OR M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

  • Technical Assistance to Director (SRF)

Qualification: M.Tech/ M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology and Management / Food Process Engineering and Management / Food Plant Operations and Management / Food Safety and Quality Management / Food Supply Chain Management/ Biotechnology/ Nanotechnology/ Agricultural Engineering (or) M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable: Proficiency in English writing & MS Office

  • To develop packaging material using ground nutshell (PA)

Qualification: B. Tech in Food Process Engineering/ Food Technology/Agricultural Engineering/ /Food science and nutrition (or) M.Sc. in the above-related disciplines.

  • Enhance the shelf life of selected green leafy vegetables (PA)

Qualification: B. Tech in Food Process Engineering/Agricultural Engineering/Food Technology/Food science and nutrition/Biotechnology (or) M.Sc. in the above-related disciplines.

Tenure of the Project

Tenure of the Project for RA / SRF / PA: Tenure will be initially for a period of six months or till the completion of the Project Period whichever is earlier and renewable every six months based on the satisfactory performance.

Salary

  • Research Associate: Rs. 40,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  • Senior Research Fellow (GAP- 042/44/49) : Rs. 25,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  • Technical Assistance to Director: Rs. 31,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
  • Project Assistant: Rs. 12,000/- Consolidated in addition HRA (as applicable)
