Applications are invited for the following posts under the project titled “Innovative and sustainable decision support system for drinking water security in Indian Himalayan Region of Sikkim and West Bengal” sponsored by the National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India. This is a collaborative research project between NIT Sikkim and FLAME University, Pune.

  • Project Scientist/ RA III- 1 Post

Qualification: Ph.D. or equivalent degree or having three years of research and development experience after M.E./ M.Tech/ M.C.A/ Computer Science. Preferable: Good knowledge about Computer Programming/ working experience in GIS.

Duration: Initial appointment will be given for a period of 6 months and extendable to another 6 months based on performance.

Salary: Rs. 49,600/ Month

  • Field Investigators- 2 Posts

Qualification: M.A./M.Sc./MSW or any Bachelor’s degree with preferably 1-year field experience

Duration: Appointment will be given for a period of 5 months

Salary: Rs. 15,000/ Month

Interview
