Fundraising executives

  • Location: New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore
  • Job description
    Develop an understanding and awareness of WWF India’s work
    Make presentations and calls and explain about WWF India’s work to members of the public in a clear and interesting way.
    Meet set income targets by signing paid supporters and individual donors for WWF India
    Develop and manage long term relationship with donors and upgrading them up the donor pyramid.
  • Qualification
    Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA from any recognized University
    1-2 years experience in sales, direct selling for any industry (preferably financial products like credit/debit cards, loans, insurance etc). Freshers with good communications skills also welcome.
    Ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with a wide range of people
    Keen desire to learn on the job
    Energy and drive to inspire people and promote WWF India’s work
    Ability to work towards fundraising targets, accept and implement feedback.

Senior Programme Officer

  • Location: New Delhi, with travel involved.
  • The Job Profile:
    Active implementation of high-quality volunteer and youth programs in the field
    Bring in new ideas and approaches to the volunteering and youth engagement work
    Reach out to potential youth groups, universities, institutes, organizations to build partnerships and engage young people in WWF volunteer programme
    Ensure the young people/volunteers involved in activities continue their journey at WWF-India and emerge as youth ambassadors in a meaningful way
    Ensure communication and visibility of the WWF Volunteer/Youth programme through social media, newsletter, publications etc.
    Any other work relating to the WWF Volunteers program as and when assigned
  • Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
    Post Graduate qualification, preferably in the field of Mass Communication, Public Relations or Social Sciences
    Minimum 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in social action community mobilization, education and volunteering.
    Enthusiasm to engage with people and the ability to take them along.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills

Senior Communications Officer

  • Location: Coimbatore
  • The Job Profile:
    Develop and support the implementation of effective communications, outreach and advocacy strategies that supports objectives of River, Wetlands and Water policy projects in the Western Ghats and Deccan peninsula.
    Develop content and collateral, suitable for a range of audiences including social media, website, brochures, newsletters and press releases, across a range of different water-related themes.
    Write regular articles on the programme activities.
    Maintain & build local media relations.
    Support the team in the execution of events and campaign activities.
  • Qualifications, Experience and Competencies required:
    Master’s degree in mass communications, journalism, public relations.
    3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
    Ability to write content for various channels including case studies, feature stories etc. and creatively package and reposition the content in a timely manner for various stakeholders.
    Knowledge of working with design software would be an advantage (Corel draw/Adobe Illustrator/Indesign, Adobe Photoshop).

Project Officer-Species Conservation

  • LocationLakhimpur Kheri Field Office, (Terai Arc Land, UP)
  • Key responsibilities:
    Carrying out the tiger, co predator, its prey, rhino and elephant monitoring work in TAL UP that is required by the organization and approved by the Landscape Coordinator- TAL UP. Specifically, the incumbent will have to work in Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and nearby areas like South Kheri FD, Suhelwa and Sohagibarwa WLS or any other site that might come up in near future.
    Based on the species monitoring work, suggest species conservation measures for TAL.
    Monitor human-wildlife conflict, analyze conflict data to develop site-specific mitigation measures and assist in the implementation of mitigation measures.
    Assist SPO (Species) in monitoring and preparation of a corridor management plan.
    Assist SPO and Coordinator – Tiger in telemetry studies that includes monitoring of radio-collared animals.
  • Qualifications and Experience
    Masters in Wildlife Science / Life Sciences / Zoology / Botany / Forestry / Environmental Science/Forest Management with minimum of 60% marks.
    Minimum two years of experience in wildlife research/ conservation-related issues.
    Experience in wildlife monitoring (camera trapping, direct count), HWC, knowledge of analytical methods/ software used to monitor terrestrial mammals is essential.
    Field experience in Terai Arc Landscape is desirable
    Good oral and written knowledge of English and Hindi are imperative.
