JOB POST: NIT Warangal is Hiring a Junior Research Fellow: Apply by April 17

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for a temporary post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the ongoing research project sponsored by DST-INSPIRE, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.

Details of project, qualification and emoluments

Project Title: Metagenome derived nitroreductases for degradation of nitro compounds Tenure of the project 5 years (2014-2019) Name and No. of Post Junior Research Fellow – 1

Essential Qualification:

1. First class in B.E/ B.Tech or Equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering (With GATE/NET qualification)

OR

Edureka - PG Diploma in AI & Machine Learning
Edureka - PG Diploma in AI & Machine Learning

2. First class in ME/M.Tech/MS in Biotechnology/Industrial Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering/Computational Biology/Biopharmaceutical technology Candidates appearing for exam of qualifying degree may be considered, but they should produce course completion/provisional degree certificate at the time of joining.

Desired qualifications: Prior knowledge/experience in Molecular cloning, Protein expression/Purification or Bioreactor operation

Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 25,000/- per month

Job Requirements: Screening industrial enzymes through functional metagenomics, Molecular cloning, Protein purification, Preparation of research reports

The selected candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. in NIT Warangal as per institute norms.
