The University of Calcutta, Department of Botany invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of one “Junior Research Fellow” in a DBT; Govt. of India funded project entitled “Screening of anti-Leukemic and anti–oxidant potential of medicinal plants of Tripura: leading to chemical identification of lead molecules” under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Paul, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta.
Eligibility
- Candidates should have M.Sc. degree in any branches of Life Science with at least first class marks.
- NET/GATE qualification desirable..
Age
As per DBT, GOI rules
Emoluments
Rs. 25,000 + HRA (@ 30% of basic) per month.
Duration
3 years or termination of the project whichever is earlier.
