  • Efficient Modulation Format Recognition and Optical Performance Monitoring for Intelligent Management of Future Optical Communication Networks

Position : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of post: One
Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and M.E/M.Tech or Equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Communication Systems/Optical Communication) selected through GATE with a minimum of 65% marks or 7.5 CGPA from any recognized University/Institute.
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month for initial two years Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month for the third year. (HRA admissible as per new regulations)
Duration of Project : 3 years
Tenure: 1 year, will be extended further two more years till the completion of the project, based on satisfactory performance.
Job Description: 1. Purchase of equipment and components for the project. Simulation using Optical Communication simulators and MATLAB Documentation of the results.

Project Positions and Number: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & 01 (one)
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Computer Science) or Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Computer Science/ Applications/ Information Technology) with first class selected through a process described through any one of the following: Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, HISc, IISER etc.
Desirable: M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science /MCA, first-class with specialization in Artificial Intelligence- Machine Learning/ Deep Learning with meeting the conditions listed in a or b.

Desirable: Experience in Structural Health Monitoring, Software Programming
Salary: Rs. 31,000 per month (consolidated) for the initial two years and Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated) for third year
Duration of Project: 3 years
