  • Project title: In Situ Probing of Intermolecular Interactions at Buried Polymer Nanocomposite Aqueous Interfaces by Sum Frequency Generation Vibrational Spectroscopy for Biofouling Application

Position: 1 JRF.

Emoluments: As per DST norms (JRF fellowship shall be Rs.31000/-per month for first two years and Rs.35000/- per month for third year onwards, in addition, HRA would be provided according to the Institute norms).

Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. However, after every year, the progress of the candidate will be reviewed for further extension.

Essential Qualifications: MSc in Physics or relevant research areas (Minimum 60 % or CGPA 6.5; 55% for SC/ST) and GATE or CSIR-UGC NET Qualified

Desirable Candidate: We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with background in Physics/BioPhysics, ideally knowledge on Polymer Nanocomposites, Laser Spectroscopy, Polymer based Device Fabrication, Biofouling. Essential Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in Physics or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Must have one of the following:  A valid CSIR-UGC (NET or JRF), A valid Inspire fellowship and A valid GATE score (1500 or above for General category and 3000 or above for reserved category).
