  • Project title: Numerical simulation of aerodynamics of flapping wings

Post: JRF (1 Vacancy)
Essential Qualifications: The applicant must meet atleast one of the following 2 criteria: i. Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10.0 point scale (or 65% marks) + good GATE score ii. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10.0 point scale (or 65% marks) + good GATE score
Desirable Qualities: Very good knowledge of the subject of Fluid Mechanics. Good knowledge of numerical tools (such as MATLAB or Fortran etc). Good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to do multi-task, effectively.

Essential Qualifications: B. Tech in Civil Engineering/ M. Tech in Environmental Engineering/Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering, or related. or M.Sc./ B.Sc. in Environmental Science/Agriculture/Applied Geology/Chemistry, or related major.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in setting-up saturated/unsaturated column experiments in lab and its associated data processing, Experience with independent handling of ICP, IC, and other analytical equipment, Expertise in using geochemical/transport models PHREEQC, Hydrus, SWAT and related.

Essential Qualifications: M. Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Materials/CAD-CAMEngineering or related discipline or Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Production/Materials/CAD-CAM Engineering or related discipline with two years of relevant experience in Industry or R&D Laboratories or Academic Institutes. GATE or CSIR-UGC NET Qualified.
Desirable Candidate: In addition to essential qualification, a candidate with previous experience of Manufacturing/ Testing/ Simulations of Plastic/ Composite components in Industry or R&D Laboratories or Academic Institutes is desired.
