Executive Assitant

Primary Location: India-New Delhi

Qualification & Experience: Essential: Completion of secondary school education. Desirable: Training in secretarial practices. University degree is an asset. Essential: At least five (5) years’ experience in secretarial/ clerical/ administrative work Desirable: Experience in WHO or in another UN/International organization would be an advantage.
Skills: Thorough knowledge of modern office procedures and practices. The incumbent keeps abreast of changes in procedures and practices, rules and regulations, organizational structure, in the department, and WHO. Ability to draft standard correspondence; Ability to handle work in a timely and accurate manner with tact and discretion, as required.Ability to maintain and update knowledge in the use of office technology through in-house courses, on-the-job training and/or self-training.
Salary: WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at INR 784,918 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.

Field Coordinator Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV) Project

Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

Qualification: Essential: Medical doctor with MBBS degree Desirable: MD or MPH with two years of public health experience WHO only considers higher educational qualifications obtained from accredited institutions.

Experience: Essential: Minimum of two (2) years’ of professional experience in the area of Operational research on vaccines Desirable: Experience of work in WHO/UN/ International organization or Multi National Company (MNC)/reputed Indian Company/non-government organization (NGO). Experience with project management and research activities Experience with projects related to disease surveillance, vaccine evaluations, enteric fever studies.
Salary: Monthly remuneration is INR 180,759 taxable as per Indian laws and the appointment will be through Special Services Agreement (SSA) extendable subject to satisfactory performance and continuing need for the function. S/he could be posted anywhere in India as per the project needs.
