  • Chartered Accountant (must be a member of the ICAI) having at least 20 years’ experience in Finance, with at least 8 years in a lead role. Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance, and budget management, rules, regulations and standards are essential qualifications. Skills needed – Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications, excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills, negotiation skills, Leadership, communications, data analysis, strategic thinking, business planning, and presentation skills.
  • Age limit: Less than 55 as on 1st July 2020 will be preferable.
Job description

Chief financial officer (CFO) of IIITB plays a strategic and leadership role in the financial management and operations of the institute and projects. He/she leads the institute’s accounting, revenue, and finance aspects, focusing on achieving healthy financials for the institute. CFO will lead all activities pertaining to financial strategies, budget plans, and internal policies while also ensuring compliance to relevant statutory standards and regulations.

CFO will keep operations aligned with the institute’s short-term and long-term financial goals. He will be responsible for ensuring that the financial books are maintained and annual statements are prepared in line with the accepted accounting standards. Ensure conduct of audit by proper co-ordination with the auditors.
