Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is a public institution established by the Government of India, located in Guwahati, in the state of Assam in India. It is the sixth Indian Institute of Technology established in India.

Applications are invited for a Walk in interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled, “Design of an Automatic Communication System Through Cloud Computing using Sensor Based Automatic Input for efficient operation of Ranganadi HEP with due Emphasis on Downstream Concerns upto confluence with Subansiri river” at the department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati.

Post Details

1. JRF
  • Qualifications: BE/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
  • Desired Qualification: Knowledge of GIS & experience in Water Resources. Candidate having GATE will be preferred. Candidate having Masters Degree in relevant field can also apply.
  • Duration: 11 months
  • Salary: Rs. 37210/-
2. JRF
  • Qualifications: BE/B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or Computer Science & Engineering
  • Desired Qualification: Experience in Computer Programming & Modelling. Candidate having Masters Degree in relevant field can also apply.
  • Duration: 11 months
  • Salary: Rs. 37210/-
3. Project Assistant
  • Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering or MCA with knowledge of office management, programming & sensor handling.
  • Duration: 11 months
  • Salary: Rs. 18650/-

  • Candidates have to appear in the Walk in Interview along with an application/CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., E – mail etc. and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview on 28 Feb 2020 (Friday) at 10:00 AM. Venue: Conference Hall, Dept. of CE.
  • Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately. An advance copy of CV may be sent to the Principal Investigator.
