JOB POST: Junior Research Fellows at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi: Apply by Jan 25
Jamia Millia Islamia is a public central university, located in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi, India. It was originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces present-day Uttar Pradesh, India, during British rule in 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988.
Applications are invited for two posts of JRF in the sanctioned project funded by “The Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance Intermediate Fellowship” under Dr Mohan Chandra Joshi.

“Chromosome cohesion mediated regulation of homologous recombination process in E. coli”.
MSc (in any area of Life-sciences/Agricultural Science/Biological Science/Bioinformatics or related subject) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (equivalent CGPA). For JRF-1, prior research experience in programming/scripting languages and for JRF-2, prior research experience in molecular biology techniques (JRF -2) are encouraged to apply. Candidates with NET/GATE fellowship are encouraged to apply.
As per The Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance rule.
The appointment will be purely on a temporary basis for a first year initially which can be further extended based on the performance of the candidate. However, the duration of JRF is coterminous with the duration of the Project and will have no financial liability beyond the duration of the proiect.
